Dive into the joy of Barton Springs or Jacob's Well without leaving home. Nature knows how to make your water crystal clear without chemicals. We can help you capture a little of that magic in your own fountain, pool, or pond.
Our team members have worked specifically with the Central Texas ecosystem for over 20 years and understand the nuances, materials, and plants you need in your pool or pond to keep it clear and vibrant year-round. Your multi-part natural filtration system is designed uniquely for your location, your uses, and Central Texas weather.
Our designers can translate your aesthetic preferences into a pool or pond that communicates your home's architecture and your lifestyle. Once we work with you to determine what you want your water feature to look like, we can engineer a design that works beautifully and fits right in.
Your chemical free water feature silently works to ensure returns on your investment many times over what's possible with a conventional pool or conventional rainwater catchment system. It's healthy, provides habitat, is a rich water source for your landscaping, reduces stormwater runoff (and your water bill), and provides your family with outdoor entertainment and living space - all in one stunningly beautiful system.
Rain fed pools and ponds use no chemicals and capture one of nature's most precious resources - rainwater for you to use to grow food, replenish your landscaping, and enhance your outdoor lifestyle. You can feel good about putting in a pool that benefits the environment and is safe for your family.
Paige Oliverio, also the founder of Urban Patchwork Neighborhood Farms educational and community Non-Profit, has combined her affinity for community advocacy and urban design with her lifelong experience in environmental stewardship and homestead scale food production to create a "whole system" framework for self-sustaining, productive, and restorative land use at the urban home scale. Paige believes strongly that food, water, and shelter are basic human needs that can be beautiful, integrated, abundant, and a natural part of our every day lives...especially in the urban setting.
Paul Oveisi, a former attorney, restaurant and live music venue owner, and native Austinite, has extensive experience bringing teams of brilliant creators and stakeholders together to accomplish common goals, on time and with attention to detail. Paul was inspired to shift from entertainment/hospitality to land and resource management after being inspired by the Earthship Community in Taos, NM, completing a Permaculture Design Certification, and apprenticing alongside accomplished regenerative landscape designers. He believes caring for the land and each other are foremost for a resilient and abundant society.
After completing a degree in health science, Irene recognized access to fresh food was the foundation of health, community, and security. After moving to Texas she completed a training apprenticeship with Urban Patchwork in 2012 and has since remained a key member of the core leadership team bringing her extensive knowledge of herbalism and cultural plant application to each project with residential clients and elementary school gardens. You're in good hands when Irene brings a team of personal gardeners to your home to help you care for your gardens, and you're likely to leave each visit knowing a few recipes and herbal folklore to go with your beautifully tended outdoor world.
